Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Atlas Landscaping Norfolk,
(“we”, “us”, “our”).
By submitting an enquiry, requesting an estimate, or accepting a quotation, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Estimates & Quotations
All written estimates are provided based on the information submitted by the client, including measurements, photographs, access details and surface conditions.
Estimates are subject to final site verification.
Final pricing may be adjusted where:
-
Measurements differ from submitted details
-
Access restrictions increase labour or material handling time
-
Existing ground conditions differ from those described
-
Additional preparation works are required
-
No fixed price is confirmed until site verification has been completed and a formal quotation is accepted.
2. Minimum Project Value
Atlas Landscaping Norfolk operates with a minimum project value of £2,000.
We reserve the right to decline enquiries that fall below our minimum operational threshold.
3. Deposits & Payment Structure
To secure your project within our installation schedule, a booking deposit of approximately 20% is required. This confirms your start date and allows us to allocate labour and preparation time.
All project materials are ordered specifically for each client. For this reason, the full material balance is required no later than 28 days prior to the agreed start date (or immediately if the start date is within that timeframe). This ensures materials are secured, scheduled and ready for installation.
The remaining labour balance is payable upon completion of the works.
For larger projects extending beyond two weeks, staged payments may be agreed. In such cases, payments will reflect completed phases of work and will be clearly outlined in writing prior to commencement.
4. Variations & Additional Work
Any additional work requested outside of the agreed scope will be:
-
Priced separately
-
Confirmed in writing
-
Approved by the client before proceeding
We do not undertake additional works without written agreement.
5. Access & Site Responsibility
The client is responsible for:
-
Providing clear site access
-
Ensuring utilities are identified
-
Removing personal items from working areas
-
Informing us of any known underground services
Delays caused by restricted access or undisclosed site issues may incur additional charges.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If a client chooses to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, written notice must be provided.
Where materials have already been ordered or allocated, costs associated with those materials may be non-refundable.
Project dates are allocated based on confirmed bookings. Reallocation of dates may be subject to availability.
7. Delays
Atlas Landscaping Norfolk will not be held responsible for delays caused by:
• Severe or prolonged weather conditions
• Supplier delays beyond reasonable control
• Restricted site access
• Client-requested changes
Where delays occur, revised schedules will be communicated clearly.
8. Completion & Sign-Off
Works are considered complete once the agreed scope of work has been delivered.
Final payment is due upon completion.
Minor natural settlement or variation in natural materials does not constitute structural defect.
9. Materials
Natural materials such as stone may contain colour variation, tonal differences, and surface texture differences. These are characteristics of the material and not faults.
Material selections are approved prior to installation.
10. Liability
Atlas Landscaping Norfolk provides a 12-month workmanship guarantee from the date of completion.
This covers installation defects arising from workmanship under normal use conditions.
This guarantee does not cover:
• Damage caused by misuse or neglect
• Movement due to ground conditions beyond reasonable control
• Natural settlement
• Weather-related impact
• Third-party interference
Materials are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.
11. Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to rectification of defective workmanship within the agreed guarantee period.
Atlas Landscaping Norfolk shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or unrelated damages.
